Fictional UI - desans.OS

I was always curious about the first GUIs and old operational systems. Specially the Xerox Alto's GUi. The pioneer UI work on for that platform was ground breaking and its ripples can still be seen today. This fictional desktop graphic user interface was inspired by Xerox Alto UI, vector graphics from the 70's-80's (like the Vectrex game console) and mixed with my own expectations about how that vibe would look on a higher resolution (1600 x 1200 pixels) This fictional UI exercise started as part of the Desans' showcase but evolved into a separate project on its own.
